  • Outlining : Introduction(History of mental health), Body 1(Definition of mental health), Body 2(factor of mental health problems), Body 3 (how to prevent and overcome mental health problems), Conclusion (The summary of mental health)

First Draft
  • Flow : I write my ideas more details using my outline at the my pre-writing. I also add some example to make my essay to be more clear to reader like "For example, a hotline such as Talian Kasih 15999 can be used for those in crisis."
  • Voice : I make my essay to be casual to be more attractive to reader.
Writing Environment
  • Minimize Distraction : I write this essay when I'm in good mood to make my essay be more productive and smooth. So it's related to my topic which is mental health.
  • Set a Timer : I also using Pomodoro Technique which is I'm doing my essay in 20 minutes and I take break to make my mind stay positive.

Big Picture
  • Thesis Check : I make sure my main idea is clear and that'll support it well throughout my writing. I also look for any weak spots or missing evidence.
Organization
  • Transitions : I make sure paragraphs and sections connect smoothly to help readers follow my argument easily.
  • Clarity: I use non complex words to make sure that the reader can easily understands what the content I want to share. Example; "feel good" hormone.

Clarity and Style:

  • Variety: I use different sentence structures and a mix of words to keep the reader interested of my essay such as I'm using passive voice  and active voice.

Grammar and Spelling

  • Tools: I use grammar check tools like Grammarly or to help me find the mistakes, but don’t rely on them completely. It'll be more easy to make this essay.
  • Read Backwards: To catch spelling errors, I read my writing backwards, and I'm focusing on each word.

Word Choice

  • Precision: I use specific words instead of vague ones. For example, instead of saying "good," I'll use "excellent," or "beneficial".

Conciseness

  • Elimination: I find and remove extra words or phrases that don’t add anything. For example, I use "due to the fact that," to "because."
  • Condense Ideas: I combine sentences that express similar ideas to make a stronger statement. Example: "Individual therapy can help change unhealthy thinking and behavior, while group counseling can provide support from others who have had similar experiences"

  • Double-Check: Before I turn in my work,  I'll take some time to review everything one last time and I'll check my content to make sure my ideas are clear, look at the formatting to ensure it follows any guidelines, and verify that my citations are correct. This final check will help me to make sure everything is in order and looks more professional.
  • Online platform : I've created my blog to share my writing and connect with others about mental health. I also share to media social such as Instagram to spread awareness to community.

    1. The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method designed to enhance productivity and focus. It was developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. Here’s how it works:

      1. Choose a Task: Select a specific task you want to work on.
      2. Set a Timer: Set a timer for 25 minutes, which is called one "Pomodoro."
      3. Work on the Task: Focus solely on the task until the timer goes off. Avoid distractions during this time.
      4. Take a Short Break: Once the timer rings, take a 5-minute break to relax and recharge.
      5. Repeat: After four Pomodoros, take a longer break of 15-30 minutes.
The technique helps break work into manageable intervals, improving concentration and reducing burnout. It encourages regular breaks, which can enhance overall productivity.
